Spotlight Dance NOLA

Kryslyn Johnston is a 22 year-old New Orleans native and began dancing at the age of 3 years old. She completed 15 years of dance at Carolyn Dicedue Dance Academy and graduated with a  teaching certificate. Her background of dance includes tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, and hip hop. She attended St. Mary’s Dominican High School, where she served as Lieutenant for one year and Team Captain for two consecutive years, leading her team to multiple awards and accolades. She is now a Louisiana State University Graduate and currently enrolled at LSU Health Sciences Center – School of Nursing. During her time at LSU, she continued to teach dance classes, such as heels and hip hop, while also doing fitness training for a variety of age groups. She initially began teaching in the Spotlight with Ms. Tai Teamer in 2015 and is very excited to be back!
