Spotlight Dance NOLA

Tai Ashley Teamer is a 25 year old native of New Orleans, La. She is a graduate of Loyola University New Orleans where she had a double business major and studied management and marketing with a minor in dance. At Loyola in addition to participation in the ballet program, Tai was a 2 year captain of the Loyola Golden Eyes Dance Team. As a former Miss Black Louisiana US Ambassador, Tai is passionate about community service and philanthropy. Professionally Tai is an in-house technique specialist, choreographer, and owner of SpotlightDanceNOLA dance studio, an artist in residence for the New Orleans ballet association. Tai also instructs at Dancing Grounds, NOLA Spaces, and is a group dance fit instructor in the greater New Orleans area for organizations such as Move Ya Brass and NORDC/NOBA senior fitness. Tai has served as a coach and choreographer to various high school and collegiate dance and cheer teams in New Orleans and was a 2015 New Orleans Arena Football League VooDoo Doll. Most recently, Tai performed with Ronald K. Brown Evidence A Dance Company in their New Orleans Based Project, On Earth Together and was the face of Essence Music Festival in a Nationally syndicated commercial. Tai is passionate about bringing quality dance education to young dancers in her community and strives to properly prepare them for wherever their passion may take them.
